Bold shapes and modern Eastern motifs set the tone for Shanghai Fashion Week 2026 Spring/Summer. Voluminous forms, unexpected proportions, layered ensembles, and textures that play with light and transparency make the runway a true laboratory of fashion. The season’s key color is white — pure and bright, like a canvas for new ideas.

Local designers showcase fresh collections, experimenting with materials — from fabrics recycled from plastic bottles and tea leaves to voluminous 3D structures, metallic and lacquered surfaces. International brands, including EENK, Climate Project, and adidas, present their latest creations alongside Chinese designers, creating a dialogue between global and local trends.

Designers share their impressions of the collections: one says she feels like a fairy in these outfits, while another notes that dressing beautifully is about feeling like a queen.

This season features dozens of brands, each bringing its own unique aesthetics and ideas. Shanghai Fashion Week continues to confirm its status as a platform where contemporary Chinese design meets global trends, setting the tone for fashion in the months ahead.
