Asia's biggest and leading children's book event is back in Shanghai! Teachers, parents, kids, illustrators, translators, and book lovers come together for a unique experience at the China Shanghai International Children's Book Fair.
Each year, publishers, writers, and artists from around the world gather in Shanghai, bringing together over 35 countries, 500+ brands, 60,000 books, and 20,000 new releases.
This year's star lineup features Sydney Smith, winner of the 2024 Hans Christian Andersen Award, and Shinsuke Yoshitake 吉竹伸介, Japanese picture book creator (It Might Be an Apple), both of whom are visiting China for the first time. They'll be joined by Leo Timmers (Belgium), Alessandro Sanna (Italy), Øyvind Torseter (Norway), and well-known Chinese authors A Geng 阿梗 and Hei Mi 黑眯.
