Police were called after a man threatened to commit suicide from a bridge in China’s Shanghai recently.

A rescue team quickly attended the scene and began trying to talk the man down.

He told police he is in huge debt but was willing to come down after about an hour of communication.

Firefighters eventually managed to get him down through a combination of safety ropes and an extension ladder.
