The Grand Halls on North Bund to Launch Individual Visiting Services
The Grand Halls, one of Shanghai's most iconic landmarks on the North Bund, will launch individual visiting services from Saturday (January 10), offering a structured and accessible way for the public to explore the site.
Visitors can book from multiple time slots online and join professionally-led themed tours that weave together architecture, historical evolution and artistic appreciation, along with upgraded ancillary services.
Tickets and reservations can be made via the WeChat mini program "世界会客厅 TheGrandHalls." The mini program updates bookable time slots every Friday for the following week, with more themed visiting programs to be introduced in the future.
Former public open days will be integrated into the "Shanghai State-Owned Enterprises Open Day," continuing to offer free visits to the public. Specific dates have not yet been announced.
Originally the site of the Yangtze River Wharf with a history of over 100 years, The Grand Halls was completed and put into operation in 2021. It consists of three heritage buildings. Since then, its century-old red brick walls have reappeared along the banks of the Huangpu River with renewed vitality, witnessing Shanghai's transformation into a new era.
