Urban movement celebration comes to West Bund

LOOFER makes its debut at West Bund with a bold, boundary-breaking celebration of urban movement.

From May 23 to 25, the LOOFER Ride × Outdoor Showcase brings together cycling, outdoor living and extreme sports in one immersive cultural experiment.

LOOFER is a living platform that reimagines how urban communities move, play and connect – with over 200 global brands, creators and athletes converging under the iconic West Bund Dome.

The high-energy preview kicks off with FISE (Festival International des Sports Extrêmes), one of the world's top extreme sports festivals.

Originating in France, FISE features BMX, skateboarding, breakdancing, inline, parkour and climbing. Its Shanghai station will host interactive demos and live showcases at LOOFER, setting the stage for the main event in October at the same site.

Also running alongside is the RE Cycling Festival, a bicycle lifestyle fair that lands in Shanghai for the first time.

Expect pro-level cycling challenges, family-friendly rides and even pet-inclusive races – all part of an outdoor carnival celebrating cycling culture. Special guests include Shinichi Konno of Japan's legendary Cherubim brand and Tokyo illustrator Tetsuro, offering hands-on workshops and meetups.

The event continues with community yoga led by Lululemon West Bund, eco-workshops by MY FARM, and a photo exhibition capturing West Bund's cycling lifestyle. Style meets sport in a cycling fashion runway show, while vendors offer gear, outdoor tech, and adventure essentials. Food, craft beer and coffee pop-ups round out the lifestyle experience.

Anchoring the showcase is the OIDE 2025 Outdoor Innovation & Design Exhibition, co-hosted by TREELINE and LOOFER.

This premier platform for next-gen outdoor gear features over 150 brands across four continents – from ultralight backpacks and mountain tech to Nordic tents and Japanese minimalism. Don't miss exclusive product debuts and design-forward gear shaping the future of outdoor living.

FISE and RE Cycling Festival events are free and open to the public, while OIDE requires ticketed entry (purchase links available via official channels).
