'Bark Concert' Brings Together Music, Puppies and Love

A unique "Bark Concert" is landing in Shanghai on Sunday, combining live music, adorable dogs and an adoption initiative to create a special evening for animal lovers.

Organized by the Shanghai FaceArt Institute of Music, the event will feature Dr. Jenny Q Chai and her students performing live music, with rescued dogs joining in as the cutest "backup singers" on stage. Beyond the concert, the event also serves as a special adoption fair, offering several friendly dogs the chance to find their forever homes.

Selected from professional rescue organizations, the dogs have completed health checks, vaccinations and temperament assessments, making it easier for visitors to meet and connect with their furry companions.
