Disney Cruise Line Debuts First Consumer Pop-Up in Shanghai
Disney Cruise Line launched its first consumer-facing pop-up event on the Chinese mainland at Shanghai Disney Resort, previewing the Disney Adventure and experiences on the cruise ship.
Titled "Let's Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line," the interactive experience will run from November 4, 2026, to January 15, 2027.
Its centerpiece is a striking installation inspired by the ship's hull, stretching more than 40 meters long.
Visitors can explore the Disney Adventure's seven themed areas, featuring stories and characters from Disney, Pixar and Marvel, as well as a dedicated space celebrating Duffy and Friends.
A detailed ship model and intricate cross-section artwork invite visitors to explore the Disney Adventure and discover how its stories and experiences unfold from bow to stern.
"The Disney Adventure opens an exciting new chapter for Disney Cruise Line in Asia, and our collaboration with Shanghai Disney Resort gives guests on the Chinese mainland a special way to step into that story before beginning their holiday in Singapore," said Sarah Fox, vice president and regional general manager, Southeast Asia, Disney Cruise Line.
The Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line's first ship to its homeport in Asia. The ship will operate primarily on three- and four-night voyages from Singapore.
It will begin offering select four-night itineraries with a stop in Langkawi, Malaysia, starting December 31, 2026.
