Put Your Stealth Skills to the Test at This Sneak-Eating Contest
Remember the days in school, when the teachers turned their backs to write on the blackboard, it was a signal for all students, yourself probably included, to quickly lower your heads and stuff snacks in your mouth? Feeling the cheap thrill of succeeding to sneak-eat a cracker, that adrenaline that keeps your heart racing, and the food in your mouth somehow tasting more fragrant and flavorful? Perhaps it was a taste of defiance, a taste of disobedience and just the overall excitement of rebelling against the rules for something trivial.
Want to relive those childhood memories, and perhaps check if your sneak-eating skills have dulled over the mundane years of growing up? Or perhaps, you are a student well-versed in this art. Either way, head down to Shanghai's Forte Woli City on Saturday (June 27) for a sneak-eating contest!
The rules are simple. Contestants will each be given a slice of cake. As "good" students, you will pay "full" attention in class while plotting your scheme to devour the cake in the makeshift classroom. With teachers patrolling the classroom and lessons ongoing, you will need to find ways to avoid being caught eating. If you are caught by the teacher three times, you are out of the contest.
So be careful, and hatch the most careful plan to sneakily finish the cake! Will it be by speed? Or stealth? Or distractions? Let your creativity overflow!
Winners will get prizes, ranging from rice cookers, blankets to vouchers, so do not hold back and show off your sneak-eating skills!
Even adults, who believe their sneak-eating skills are not up to par, are welcome to head down to watch a spectacular performance of ingenuity, chaos and laughter and enjoy the contest while reminiscing about the sillier, innocent days of the past.
See you in the classroom!
