So Where is It?

As mentioned, it'll be in the southern Shanghai district of Jinshan, specifically in an area called Fengjing Town.

They've gone all out. Eight themed "lands." Seventy-five interactive rides and attractions. And if that wasn't enough sensory overload, they're debuting the world's first LEGO Monkie Kid zoned – basically "Journey to the West" if Tang Sanzang had abs and a laser staff. A surprising but not unwelcome blend of Chinese mythology and Danish design language. Cool? Weird? Yes.

Other highlights include:

A Dragon Coaster (for the 9-year-old adrenaline junkie in your life)

A 60-meter-tall Observation Tower (for watching your dignity from above)

A boat ride through faux-Jiangnan water towns (because you haven't seen enough of those in Minhang malls already)

If you like your art installations loud, large, and made of interlocking ABS plastic, you're in luck. The park contains 2,889 LEGO models made from 85 million bricks, including a 26-meter-tall LEGO colossus that weighs more than a decent-sized blue whale (136 tons, if you must know).

You can practically hear the satisfying click of corporate synergy.

Ticket Prices? Yea we Got Them:

China's Got Theme Parks Now. Like, a Lot.

LEGOLAND joins a growing pantheon of mega-parks designed to melt your wallet and thrill your child. First came Disneyland in 2016, then Universal Studios Beijing in 2021, and now this brick-based fever dream. The resort is aiming for 5 million visitors a year.

So yeah, mark your calendars. This summer, Jinshan becomes the capital of tiny, interlocking dreams.
