3M, a global diversified technology company, is present at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for the eighth consecutive year under the theme "Green Future – 3M Is Making Now."

Designed with a circular economy concept, its expo booth is divided into sections representing the five priority markets served by 3M: Industry, Safety, Automotive, Electronics, and Consumer.

"The China International Import Expo serves as a vital platform for 3M to showcase our innovative achievements and strengthen local collaborations. Over the past seven years, we have consistently aligned with the Chinese market, integrating cutting-edge technology with local needs to support sustainable industry development," said Henry Ding, President of 3M China.

"Through strategic partnerships with industry peers and continued investment in China, we reinforce our commitment to 'In China, For China,' enabling more agile and localized responses to better serve the Chinese market."

The ever-evolving CIIE has become a prominent "golden signboard" for attracting foreign investment to China, allowing foreign companies, including 3M, to increasingly recognize the investment opportunities in the Chinese market.

During last year's CIIE, 3M put into operation its intelligent converting center at its manufacturing site in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP), as part of a US$50 million investment project.

This facility works in synergy with the structural adhesive production line and prototyping center located at the same site, to better meet the diverse and evolving needs of product development and manufacturing in the domestic electronics and industrial sectors.

This August, 3M further solidified its commitment to the Chinese market with the completion of its tape production line expansion project at the SCIP manufacturing site.

With production capacity increased by 50 percent, the production lines precisely match the diverse demands for low-pollution, lightweight, and high-strength products in China's consumer electronics and automotive electrification sectors.

Through eight consecutive years of participation in the CIIE, 3M vividly demonstrates the core concept of "3M Science Applied to Life" through continuous innovation, deepening cooperation, and localized development. In the future, it will continue to rely on its global network and localized presence to collaborate with Chinese partners in creating a green, efficient, and sustainable future.

The new product launches, such as the 3M VHB Max Tape Bonding System, 3M 339U Sanding Disc, Speedglas Welding Helmets G5-03 Series, and 3M Scott CG-8 Supplied Air Respirator, represent the company's key solutions in its industry and safety sector, supporting enterprises in enhancing production efficiency.

To meet the increasing demand for electrification, intelligence, and personalization in the automotive industry, 3M showcases its latest innovations and material science solutions – from manufacturing to aftermarket – empowering the future of mobility.

Automated Solution for New Energy Vehicle Battery Pack Sealant and Multi-effect Oil Film Removing Glass Cleaner represent its latest offerings that cater to the local demands.

3M's consumer innovations include Thinsulate™ Water Repellent Insulation (Type DR), made from 100% recycled content. Lightweight, breathable, water-repellent, and durable even after washing, it's ideal for eco-friendly outdoor apparel and gear.
