Henkel took up a 150-square-meter booth this year, themed "Energizing Today, Shaping Tomorrow."
"China is a dynamic market with strong growth potential. For more than 50 years in China, Henkel has grown alongside the country's development," said Anna An, president of Henkel China.
"CIIE is a pivotal platform for China's high-level opening-up and a key pillar for Henkel's long-term commitment to this market. Through CIIE, we aim to showcase our latest innovations and sustainable practices, helping advance high-quality development across China's industrial and consumer sectors. We also look forward to deepening cooperation with both local and global partners to jointly create a sustainable future."
At this year's CIIE, Henkel showcased more than 10 core brands, reflecting its diversified business portfolio and deep expertise across multiple market segments. Henkel continues to invest in its brands and leverages brand strength as a key driver to advance technological innovation and expand market presence.
Henkel introduced several new haircare products, including the Shiseido Professional Sublimic Wonder Shield Hair Spray and VS Pixies Oil, the first new product launched after Henkel acquired Vidal Sassoon and its China business.
It also displayed shampoo, color, styling, and home cleaning products to meet the growing demand for high-quality and diverse lifestyle products in China.
As China's manufacturing sector advances toward high-end and smart transformation, key industries are placing higher demands on cutting-edge materials. At this year's CIIE, Henkel showcased advanced technologies for semiconductor packaging and chip protection – delivering reliable performance for data centers, mobile connections, aerospace and rail transportation.
Henkel's solutions in EV battery modeling, simulation, and advanced testing enable precise performance prediction during early design phases, shortening development cycles and accelerating time to market.
Henkel remains committed to sustainable innovation and actively supports China's green supply chain and low-carbon initiatives.
At this year's CIIE, it also presented sustainable solutions across consumer packaging, hygiene products, construction and home decoration.
Among these, Henkel's paper packaging barrier coating solution enables paper cups to be recycled without separating coatings and base materials; Henkel's Technomelt Advance solution for diapers and sanitary pads, featuring low odor, low VOCs and low pressure sensitivity, ensures safety and comfort for consumers.
Henkel, a global adhesives leader, released the first association standard for adhesive product carbon footprint calculation with authoritative partners like the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF), setting a decarbonization benchmark.
Henkel also hosted a sustainable packaging forum and livestream to discuss circular economy issues with industry stakeholders.
