[In Photos] Flying Cars Soar at the China Int’l Import Expo in Shanghai

Yicai took an early look at the highly anticipated Future Mobility exhibition area that features the latest electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft at the eighth China International Import Expo.

Global leaders from the next-generation information technology, artificial intelligence, and green sectors will present their new achievements at this year's CIIE, which opens today and runs through Nov. 11 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

Shanghai-based TCab Technology debuts the E20, a passenger-carrying, vectored-thrust eVTOL aircraft.

A medium-sized eVTOL logistics drone sits at the booth of HRC. The aircraft will be used for transportation, disaster relief, and rescue.

HRC was deeply involved in the design and manufacturing of the drone, significantly improving its lightweight index by leveraging its full-chain capabilities in carbon fiber composite material molding.

Inflync shows its "air limousine," the Inflync L600. With a wingspan of 13.5 meters, a fuselage length of 10 meters, a maximum takeoff weight of 2.8 tons, and a maximum payload of 620 kilograms, it can carry one pilot and five passengers.

The Inflync L600 features a hybrid range-extending, full-tilt ducted fan configuration, boasting a maximum range of 600 kilometers and a top cruise speed of 360 km per hour. It is capable of multiple takeoffs and landings on a single charge, meeting diverse urban low-altitude mobility needs.

Visitors take a close look at EHang Intelligent Technology's two-seat autonomous Changan EH216-SC flying car. The aircraft has a range of over 300 km and a top speed of 200 km/h and is primarily designed for tourism and sightseeing.
