Traffic restrictions for upcoming holiday

Traffic bans will be implemented on some roads around the Bund and the Lujiazui area during the upcoming Mid-Autumn Day and National Day holiday, according to Shanghai police.

Motor vehicles are prohibited on most roads within the red-lined area from 4:30pm to 11:30pm between September 30 and October 7.

Non-motor vehicles are prohibited in the area within the blue line.

In addition, East Nanjing Road Station on Metro lines 2 and 10, and Yuyuan Garden Station on Line 14 will be closed from 4pm between October 1 and 6.

The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel will be closed from 8pm to 9:30pm on September 30, and from 4pm to 9:30pm daily from October 1 to 8.

Also from October 1 to 8, the Huangpu River ferry between East Jinling Road and Dongchang Road will be suspended daily from noon to 6:30pm.

The eight-day National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays run from October 1 to 8.
