Fashion Park Neighborhood

The wheat aroma of Italian pizza surrounds the neighborhood, which sits besides the European-style fountain. A few steps away, Turkish kebabs sizzle and crackle.

The Fashion Park Neighborhood allows every visitor to experience a taste of globalized lifestyle in a local setting.

As a commercial and retail complex directly serving the Huacao International District, this 86,000-square-meter open-air neighborhood adopts the "Fashion Park" design concept. Through landscaped greenery and waterways, it creates an international community hub seamlessly blending nature with retail and leisure spending.

The Huacao International District which sits at the northern tip of Minhang is well known as a vibrant international community where families thrive educationally and socially

It has a prime location which is adjacent to eight international neighborhoods and education institutions, such as the American School and Singapore International School.

The neighborhood positions itself as the "second living room" for expatriate families. With five bus routes providing seamless connectivity and over 600 parking spaces, it offers effortless commuting for the international community.

The Favorita Italian restaurant, the ROKA GRILL Turkish restaurant, the Pho Mi Vietnam-style eatery and the Preferred Stake BBQ canteen offer a wide range of tastes for gourmet lovers.

The neighborhood also fosters cultural exchange through celebrations such as the Mid-Autumn Festival market. Each autumn, the International Food Festival invites resident chefs to conduct cooking demonstrations, making it the community's most popular event.

The fountain squares, waterfront landscapes and landscaped walkways make the neighborhood a perfect place not only for shopping but also leisure activities.

On weekends, the lawn picnic area becomes a favorite spot for family gatherings, while the children's play area features safety facilities to make parents feel at ease when they go out with the family.

Qingnian Road

Qingnian Road is the first in Minhang to be designated as a Shanghai municipal-level tourism and leisure block.

This 800-meter-long street feels like a time tunnel, connecting Qibao Ancient Town to the north with a modern cultural park to the south.

Here is an ideal haven for relaxation where visitors can discover where history meets contemporary trends and escape the humdrum of daily life.

Qingnian Road is situated in the heart of Qibao Ancient Town and lies just 3 kilometers from the Hongqiao Comprehensive Transport Hub.

As a pivotal node in Minhang District's "north and south pathway", the area is also a cultural landmark embodying both traditional and contemporary appeal.

Strolling through the area, visitors can encounter a vibrant blend of attractions, including fashion and creativity, leisure and entertainment, dining, and shopping.

Young travelers can explore the time-honored Qibao Ancient Town at leisure, immersing themselves in its millennia-old cultural heritage, or embrace contemporary living within modern commercial spaces.

A Zen Cafe sits on the Qibao pagoda's northern side, and one can behold the ancient town's vistas in perfect harmony while taking the window seats.

The neighborhood successfully hosted a cultural parade centered on floral hairpin artistry during the Labor Day holiday in May 2025.

Through immersive floral installations, intangible cultural heritage (ICH) interactive experiences, and opening ceremony parade performances, the event connected and blended distinctive cultural venues and activities.

The Fragrance Pavilion and Lingzhu Daguan Dwarf Bamboo Gallery stood out as special attractions where visitors were able to appreciate traditional floral hairpin craftsmanship while gaining deeper insights into Qibao's ICH.

This also enhanced cultural engagement and participation from visitors, effectively invigorating regional cultural and tourism consumption.

The Qibao Ancient Town Cultural Festival and the International Light Festival were held in the neighborhood between September and October last year.

Key attractions and events included the Bell Tower Light Show and the Water Screen Light Show that created a harmonious blend of ancient cultural heritage and modern lighting technology.

The Lingzhu Daguan Dwarf Bamboo Gallery showcases nearly a thousand bamboo-woven artifacts, including walking sticks, tea trays, and armchairs. Each piece undergoes 32 meticulous processes – like mould and insect resistance treatments and shaping – to preserve the natural beauty of bamboo joints while showcasing the contemporary design.

The gallery regularly hosts bamboo weaving workshops where visitors can handcraft small items such as bamboo lamps and pen holders.

During the day, one can stroll along the ancient town's age-old paths while there are dreamlike light art installations in the night.

Here, traditional ICH crafts meet modern creative spaces, and food lovers can also get a taste of authentic local cuisine and the most popular snacks.
