The short films address Chinese cultural fables from diverse perspectives. The films use folklore, everyday life, and imaginative worlds to explore contemporary themes like self-identity, intergenerational bonds, and the pursuit of dreams.

According to chief director Chen Liaoyu, the new season will blend traditional and modern aesthetics to tell stories set in China's cultural landscape. Chief producer Li Zao added that this chapter will more directly engage with current social issues.

The studio also plans to grow the IP's value chain through merchandise, cross-industry partnerships, and immersive experiences.
