Shanghai Mobile Launches 10G Broadband, Free AI Tokens for Businesses

China Mobile Shanghai branch has introduced the Dual 10G (Gigabyte) bandwidth enterprise smart service package, covering both broadband and 5G-A mobile networks citywide, the carrier said on Thursday.

The network upgrade, along with 25 million free artificial intelligence tokens for local shops and enterprises, will accelerate digital transformation across local smart dining, smart retail and smart office environments. It will boost operational efficiency and service quality while enhancing Shanghai's business environment.

Currently, more than 40 business parks and residential communities have completed the Dual 10G upgrades in the city. They include Global Harbor, a major shopping center in downtown Putuo District. 5G-A services, with higher speed and lower latency, are ready at the mall, including AI services for 2026 FIFA World Cup streaming.
