A students carnival named "Labor Creates Better Life" was recently held at the Shanghai Zhiyao Ecological Agriculture Base. Students from various kindergartens, primary and secondary schools gathered to demonstrate their skills in real-life scenarios.

At the exhibition booths, students showcased their handmade pumpkin knowledge boards, featuring detailed illustrations and explanations that highlight the outcomes of their labor education courses.

The daily life labor demonstration area was particularly lively. Amid the sizzle of woks and the aroma of freshly cooked dishes, plates of flavorful home-style stir-fries were served. Meanwhile, other students skillfully organized cluttered spaces.

These vibrant practices reflect Jiading's five-year commitment to advancing labor education. Over the past half-decade, the district has released over 150 high-quality shared labor education courses, establishing a three-tier curriculum system that includes foundational, characteristic and innovative programs.

The district has established 64 student labor education practice bases and 110 off-campus practice bases to enhance experiential learning.
