A citizen called the police after he noticed a small boy lost on a street in China’s Jiangsu Province on August 16.
The 7-year-old was holding a 20 yuan (US$2.80) note and told police his mother asked him to go and buy three chicken legs.
His mother sounded indifferent when police called her, and she waited 20 minutes to go and pick him up.
