CIIE Shanghai Events and Conferences to be held

The 2025 China International Import Expo Shanghai Events and Conferences, a series of sideline events of the upcoming CIIE and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, will take place from Nov 6 to 9.

This year's program will feature about 100 high-level meetings centered on six key themes, including overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises, drivers of international trade, and sustainable development.

Highlights will include the Invest in China - Shanghai City Investment Promotion Conference, two sub-forums of the Hongqiao International Economic Forum (the Pudong Sub-Forum and the Hongqiao Sub-Forum), as well as around 100 thematic forums, seminars, and industry matchmaking sessions.

The events will bring together Nobel laureates, academicians, experts from international organizations and think tanks, as well as industry leaders from around the world to share insights and foster collaboration.

Aimed at connecting CIIE resources, the series will serve as a platform for industry exchange, trade promotion, and investment cooperation.

According to the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, this year's events will focus on cutting-edge trends in global economic and trade development, striving for a comprehensive upgrade in scale, depth of topics, and platform functions to further enhance CIIE’s international impact.
