Jiading is Ramping up Its Commitment to Talent

The 2025 Shanghai Jiading Elite Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week and the 4th Yangtze River Delta Young Scientists Forum were held recently, as the district strives to develop a hub of talent.

Jiading has increased investment in talent work, implemented a slew of new talent policies and made every effort to optimize its talent service system and talent development ecosystem, officials said.

The influx of exceptional talent to Jiading has resulted in the number reaching nearly 400,000.

The number of high-level overseas talent at both national and municipal levels, has ranked among the highest in Shanghai.

The Yangtze River Delta sci-tech innovation partner initiative was launched during the event to build a talent community.

The "14th Five-Year Plan" talent apartment map of Jiading was also released, featuring 34 projects and more than 16,000 talent apartments launched from 2021-2025.
