Papergames teams up with Green Technology Bank for 'miracle in the desert' project
A historic alliance gave the world new hope on Earth Day.
Papergames, a leading creative tech company, and agricultural developer Green Technology Bank launched the "Miracle of the Vast Desert" on Tuesday to battle desertification in China's Taklamakan Desert.
From Games to Green Dreams
Known for building fantastical worlds in games, Papergames is now helping build real-life oases. In partnership with Green Technology Bank, which specializes in sustainable agriculture, Papergames is transforming barren sands into fertile farmland using breakthrough technologies such as AI-driven irrigation and SBT® biotechnologies to reengineer desert soil.
Technology That Heals the Earth
The Shache County pilot site is reviving 8,600 acres of desert. Customized soil blends, smart water systems, and precision farming are revitalizing abandoned lands by growing alfalfa, sunflowers, and more with half the water.
A New Blueprint for the Future
The project hopes to increase local wages, create jobs, capture carbon, and inspire new sustainable growth models. This dramatic move toward a greener, smarter planet is propelled by creativity, innovation, and a shared vision for the future.
"From pixels to plantations, we're using technology to reshape reality — and make miracles happen," Papergames COO Yao Fei said.
