300,000 fans! Shanghai Metro to add extra trains for Teens in Times concert crowds

The TFBoys' younger counterpart group, Teens in Times (时代少年团), kicked off their Shanghai concerts tonight. Through Sunday (August 24), the shows are expected to draw more than 300,000 fans.

Shanghai Metro has decided to add extra trains every night after the concerts, depending on passenger flow.

The last added service will depart no later than 11:30pm. Passengers are advised to enter the stations promptly after the shows to avoid delays.

Line 1 (from Shanghai Indoor Stadium)

• To Fujin Road: stops at Shanghai Indoor Stadium, Xujiahui, People's Square, Shanghai Railway Station, Shanghai Circus World, Pengpu Xincun, and Tonghe Xincun.
• To Xinzhuang: stops at Shanghai Indoor Stadium, Shanghai South Railway Station, and Lianhua Road.
• Except for the starting station, Shanghai Indoor Stadium, all other stops are exit only.

Line 4 (from Shanghai Indoor Stadium/Shanghai Stadium)

• Both inner and outer loops terminate at Shanghai Railway Station.
• All intermediate stations are exit only.

Line 11 (from Shanghai Swimming Center)

• Toward Jiading: Terminates at Jiading Xincheng.
• Toward Disney: Terminates at Luoshan Road.
• All intermediate stations are exit only.

Meanwhile, Shanghai police have announced temporary traffic controls around Shanghai Indoor Stadium and nearby Metro stations, along with other safety protocols, to maintain order and ensure public safety during the high-profile event.
