Huake Manufacturing Park Captures Key Industries

The Huake Innovation Intelligent Manufacturing Park in Qingpu District's Huaxin Town has attracted about 20 settled enterprises in three key industries: logistics equipment, low-altitude economy and auto parts.

Behind the scenes is a well-established private enterprise with deep roots in manufacturing: Shanghai Xinhong Group Co, which was founded in 1978.

It has grown steadily over more than four decades, evolving from a single factory into a diversified group and becoming a supplier to giants like SAIC Volkswagen and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Limited (CATL).

In 2024, amid the wave of industrial upgrading, the veteran enterprise phased out inefficient production capacity for emerging industries. It invested in establishing a park operation company, Shanghai Xinhong Huake Industrial Development Co, and successfully transformed its old factory into a private low-altitude economy industrial park, Huake Innovation Intelligent Manufacturing Park.

The park serves as the core area for the Express Logistics Headquarters and the Huaxin Digital Logistics Equipment Port, providing a solid foundation for the development of the logistics equipment industry. Its prime location, which connects to the Yangtze River Delta region through the Hongqiao Hub, positions the park at the forefront of low-altitude economic development. This strategic positioning offers significant potential for "low-altitude and logistics" end-user scenarios.

"The layout of these three industries is highly aligned with the park's strategic positioning and regional planning," said Zhang Yi, general manager of Shanghai Xinhong Huake Industrial Development Co Ltd.

With years of experience in auto body R&D and manufacturing, the enterprise has profound expertise in general technologies for land, sea and air transportation and logistics tools, providing a solid technical and experiential foundation for the park to introduce and support advanced manufacturing sectors.
