Reeb Creative Industry Park

The park is characterized by a 60-meter-high chimney.

Reeb Square, Minhang's first commercial complex built from scattered industrial land, is a 300,000-square-meter integrated industrial-urban complex based on symbiosis, co-creation and shared benefits.

The Meilonggang River divides the complex into eastern and western zones, connected by bridges to form an open, multi-functional public space. It attracts an average daily footfall of 10,000 to 12,000 visitors, with the largest single-day number exceeding 33,000.

It now encompasses craft beer restaurants, sports venues and exhibition spaces that offer a wide range of venues for all kinds of leisure activities and retail consumption.

The Reeb 1987 craft beer restaurant sits in the former boiler room at the brewery; its vintage pipework and craft brewing equipment create a unique sense of mixture and overlap of different decorative styles.

It offers craft beer such as Indian pale ale and classic lager, which require traditional all-malt brewing, with a 30-35 day fermentation cycle.

The restaurant expanded its menu items to include Chinese dishes in 2023, and it also launched wood-fired oven grilling this May to cater to diverse tastes.

KL Climbing Park, also a part of the Reeb Creative Industry Park, took the spotlight for sports lovers. It is Shanghai's only climbing venue built inside a silo.

The facility features a 20-meter-high wall, a 16-meter difficulty wall, an 8-meter children's wall and a 120-square-meter bouldering area, catering to enthusiasts of different climbing levels.

Many artist-collaborative scarves are on display at the Wensli Silk Culture Exhibition Venue, which combines silk craftsmanship with contemporary art.

The recent "Purple China" exhibition featured paintings on silk scarves and drew many young visitors. Also opening soon is the Silk Museum, which will display intangible cultural heritage.

Guanghua Creative District

This creative zone stretches from Humin Road in the east to Zhongchun Road in the west, spanning a total planned area of 74.79 hectares.

It has brought together nearly 300 cultural and creative enterprises, and seamlessly integrates creative design, art exhibitions and culinary experiences. It has also established itself as a new benchmark for cultural and creative districts in Shanghai.

Each year, the Guanghua Creative District hosts a series of signature events: the Guanghua Forum brings together industry leaders to share innovative ideas; the Guanghua Creative Graffiti Art Festival transforms the walls of old factory buildings into artistic canvases; the Guanghua Bazaar blends traditional markets with modern creativity; and the Guanghua Sharing Hub provides a platform for creative professionals to exchange concepts.
