Metro Line 2 extends nighttime operation hours

Shanghai Shentong Metro has announced that starting from August 1, the departure time of the last train on Line 2 from Xujingdong Station to Pudong International Airport Station will be extended from 9:30pm to 10pm.

The departure time of the last train of each station along the Line 2 will be accordingly 30 minutes later.

It will especially benefit passengers traveling on the eastern extension of Line 2. The departure time of the last train from Guanglan Road Station to Pudong International Airport Station will be from 10:30pm to 11pm, and its arrival time at Pudong International Airport Station will move from 11:01pm to 11:31pm.

The extension aims to make it convenient for commuters on Line 2 and passengers heading to Pudong International Airport for late night or early morning flights.
