Fuxing Island Park | 复兴岛公园

Tucked away in the Yangpu District, Fuxing Island is Shanghai's only inland island on the Huangpu River. Fuxing Island Park serves as the island's sole public attraction.

Though small in size, the park is densely packed with greenery, creating the ambiance of a hidden forest kingdom. Paths to the right of the entrance lead to a Japanese-style pavilion and pond, making it an ideal spot for cherry blossom viewing in spring. To the left, towering camphor trees line the pathway.

A notable feature of the park is the Bailu Villa, a one-story structure with white walls and a red roof that showcases a Japanese aesthetic while being shaded by lush trees. Another highlight is a bamboo pavilion adorned with time-worn tiles and weathered bamboo, rich in the textures of history and the spirit of a bygone era.
