The final of the 2025 Alltra Games, a functional fitness competition organized by German sportswear company Adidas, was held at the Qizhong Tennis Center in Shanghai's Minhang district from Oct 23 to 26.
As one of the world's biggest CrossFit events, the competition, formerly known as the Asia Fitness Championship, features three divisions for elite, scaled and masters athletes.
During the three-day period, more than 1,000 participants from around the world competed in an array of fitness programs, such as running, gymnastics, weightlifting and cardiovascular training.
CrossFit is a high-intensity fitness program that combines varied functional movements, aiming to improve overall fitness by building strength, endurance and agility through challenging and diverse workouts.
In recent years, it has rapidly become a popular fitness trend in China, with the number of participants and the scale of events gradually expanding.
As one of the most influential comprehensive fitness events in Asia, the Alltra Games continues to attract top fitness athletes and physical training enthusiasts worldwide with diverse competitive events and high-intensity challenges.
Since its entry to China last year, the competition has forged extensive collaborations with venues in over 10 cities nationwide and secured partnerships with more than 30 sub-venues across various cities, continually enhancing and expanding its competition framework.
