Exploring ocean, universe with immersive digital experiences
Immersive experience brand "Deep Space 8K 3D" has undergone an upgrade with two groundbreaking new themes: "Deep Space Ocean" and "Deep Space Uniview."
This upgrade, centered on exploring the ocean and the universe, will provide the audience with an even more breathtaking sensory experience.
Since its opening at the West Bund Museum in December 2023, "Deep Space 8K 3D," covering an area of 400 square meters, has collaborated with over 20 technology and cultural IPs. More than 1,800 performances have been presented, attracting over 200,000 visitors.
The new themes deeply integrate advanced technology with the spirit of Chinese exploration.
Professor Cui Weicheng, deputy chief designer of the Jiaolong deep-sea manned submersible, remarked that the best approach to science popularization is to enable people to feel the most dynamic pulse of science.
Under his guidance, "Deep Space Ocean" took root in the latest achievements of China's deep-sea exploration missions.
Transforming scientific data from 10,000-meter dives into perceptible visual language, it allows audiences to vividly perceive the technological advancements and scientific spirit of China's deep-sea exploration.
In conjunction with this, "Deep Space Uniview" integrates the most recent cosmic observation databases from America's NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and the ESA (European Space Agency) with the latest discoveries from the Chang'e and Tianwen probes, creating a dynamic narrative.
This allows the audience to witness significant cosmic occurrences, including the formation of galaxies. Furthermore, the upgrade represents a strategic transition from single-point innovation to ecological development within the industry's landscape.
"Our objective is to establish a digital experience ecosystem akin to an electrical grid," said Tian Yuan, founder of "Deep Space 8K 3D."
The brand has jointly established an innovation practice base with Shanghai Tongji University, persistently refining solutions in talent cultivation and technological iteration. In the future, digital experiences will no longer be restricted to specific venues, but will infiltrate every corner of the city.
