[In Photos] New Medical Devices Make Their China Debut at CIIE in Shanghai
(Yicai) Nov. 5 -- Multiple products have made their China debut at the Medical Devices & Healthcare Exhibition Zone of the eighth China International Import Expo, which opened today.
Chinese drugmaker Fosun Pharmaceutical Group shows Marie, an upright particle therapy solution that has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration.
Medtronic displays the Avalus Ultra bioprosthesis, the medical device maker's next-generation bovine pericardial valve for aortic valve replacement.
Boston Scientific exhibits the FARAWAVE NAV Single-Use Magnetic Positioning Cardiac Pulsed Field Ablation catheter. Its newly added magnetic positioning feature can be used in conjunction with the firm's RHYTHMIA HDx Mapping System to accurately recreate cardiac anatomy and significantly simplify the atrial fibrillation ablation procedure.
Varian displays its RapidArc Dynamic slotuion, the world's first dual-rotational, intensity-modulated, ultra-precise radiosurgical solution. It serves as a more precise, non-invasive "radiosurgical knife" that pushes the boundaries of radiotherapy and can help doctors tackle complex cases, such as ultra-central lung cancer.
GE HealthCare Technologies' MR-PET, a radiation-free, real-time metabolic magnetic resonance scanner, makes its global debut at this year's CIIE.
