Multiple cruises will depart from Shanghai this winter and early 2026, offering residents and visitors festive and leisure travel options at sea.

The cruises have a diverse range of themes, including global voyages, Spring Festival family trips and wellness-focused holidays.

MSC Cruises' World Cruise 2026, operated by MSC Magnifica, will make its first-ever call in China on March 29, 2026, with Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal as its inaugural Chinese port of call.

From January to May 2026, the 132-day voyage will visit 46 stops in 33 countries and regions in Europe, the Caribbean, the Americas, Pacific islands, Australia and Asia.

MSC Bellissima will arrive in Shanghai on January 27 for winter and Spring Festival family cruises to Jeju and Busan in South Korea, with festive dining, entertainment and parent-child activities.

China's first domestically-built large cruise ship, Adora Magic City, will also sail from Shanghai, offering seasonal programs focused on family gatherings, traditional festivals and wellness activities for senior travelers, with itineraries covering ports such as Busan and Incheon in South Korea.

Royal Caribbean's Spectrum of the Seas will sail from Shanghai to Busan and Okinawa, offering a variety of accommodations, interactive entertainment and panoramic sea views.
