Hangzhou's Yuewang Temple is hosting a month-long cultural event to celebrate the 922nd birth anniversary of Yue Fei, a renowned Chinese military commander from the 12th century.

On March 14, the 10th Yue Fei Cultural Heritage Series commenced with the theme "Loyalty Eternal, Legacy Continued."

A tour of the Yuewang Memorial Garden offers visitors the chance to explore the temple and enjoy free stamp-collecting activities and martial skills demonstrations inspired by Yue Fei's army. Participants in the stamp-collecting activities will receive limited-edition souvenirs.

General Yue Fei is arguably one of the most well-known and revered historical figures. In his honor, a temple was constructed during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) at his burial site.
