Cruising Along Iconic Suzhou Creek with Tea Culture as the Theme
Suzhou Creek, a landmark tourist spot in Shanghai, is offering a new tea culture-themed route through September 20 in celebration of the ongoing Shanghai International Tea Culture Tourism Festival.
The cruise tour is held between 2pm and 2:30pm everyday, and detailed route is as follows:
Shanghai Sihang Warehouse Wharf - Xizang Road Bridge - Henan Road Bridge - Zhapu Road Bridge - Waitanyuan Wharf (or the Bund Origin) - Waibaidu Bridge - Broadway Mansions - Sichuan Road Bridge/Shanghai Postal Museum - Yanqingli - Shanghai Sihang Warehouse Memorial Museum - Shanghai Sihang Warehouse Wharf.
During the half-hour tour, onboard guests will also be able to experience the essence of the local tea culture through a variety of activities, including tea ceremony demonstration, lecture on tea culture, master-level brewing on the spot, complimentary tasting of various teas, creative souvenirs, etc.
The tour costs 60 yuan (US$8.4) for adults and seniors above 60 and children under 14 are entitled to discounts.
