The Shangma Speed X Series Nike Kids Run was held in Pudong on the first weekend of the new semester, attracting some 3,000 pairs of children and parents, including expats.

Despite the heat, the young runners, aged between 5 and 12, started their 4-kilometer mini marathon from the riverside green land on Yaohua Road. Professional pacers accompanied the young participants throughout the race to help them scientifically regulate the pace and experience the joy of running in a safe and encouraging environment.
