The flash mob in Fengxian District
Residents staged a flash mob and sang the classic "My Country and I" by Jinhai Lake in Fengxian District.
Performers included shooting gold medalists in the world championship Zhang Yafei and Li Jun, the district’s industry leader Zheng Chunying, national moral models Gu Chunjiang, Zhou Lijuan and Zheng Yu, two of the the city’s top 100 policemen Zhang Yinkang and Liu Wei, Beijing Opera actor Li Jun, Shanghai Opera actor Sun Xuchun, Shaoxing Opera actor Wu Qun, singer Meng Wei and junior idol group Yi An Musical.
Fengxian rolling lights, a national intangible cultural heritage project, were also staged during the event. A huge national flag was unfurled on an island in the lake in an expression of love for the country.
