Male Nurse Caught Secretly Filming Female Colleagues in Changing Room

Police in Tianjin arrested a nurse on December 18 for secretly filming his colleagues in a hospital in the north Chinese city's Xiqing District.

A local police statement released on Friday confirmed that the suspect, surnamed Liu, is a 23-year-old male nurse working in the hospital, which was not identified. He admitted to repeatedly placing a hidden camera in the nurses' office to secretly film female staff while changing clothes, which he later uploaded online.

The investigation was launched after these non-consensual videos circulated online and sparked public concern. Screenshots showed the camera positioned at about waist height, believed to have been placed on a desk. The case is currently under investigation.
