Man Detained for Kicking Lamborghini While Intoxicated
Police in Shanghai's Putuo District recently arrested a man surnamed Yin for kicking a Lamborghini while under the influence of alcohol.
Yin works as a beverage salesperson at a karaoke venue. Toward the end of August, he and his colleagues went out for drinks after finishing work. The group later stopped to chat near a Lamborghini parked on Jiaozhou Road. Yin got into an argument with a friend and, in a fit of rage, kicked the Lamborghini.
Others in the group intervened to prevent him from causing further damage.
The police requested an assessment of the damage to the vehicle. The report indicated multiple damages to the carbon fiber panels and paintwork, with losses exceeding 10,000 yuan (about US$1,400).
The police have placed Yin in criminal detention for inciting quarrels and causing disturbances. The investigation is ongoing.
