Rolex Shanghai Masters tickets go on sale Monday

Tennis fans, your Golden Week plans in October just got a major upgrade.

To be held during both the National Day holiday and Mid-Autumn Festival, the 2025 Rolex Shanghai Masters will run from September 29 to October 12 at the Qizhong Tennis Center in Minhang District.

With newly upgraded stadiums and a holiday-friendly schedule, this year's edition promises more access and excitement than ever.

Tickets go on sale at 12pm on Monday (July 21) via the Jiushi Sports App, WeChat and Alipay mini-programs, and City News Service "Jiushi Sports" ticketing channel.

What's new in 2025

This year introduces significant upgrades to the tournament experience. The No. 2 Stadium has been fully renovated and is now equipped with a retractable roof that shields both the court and spectator seating. This ensures uninterrupted matches and greater comfort regardless of the weather.

Additionally, Court 17 has been reimagined as the "Masters Training Ground," offering 1,200 upgraded seats and a closer look at how top players prepare for competition. It's a rare opportunity for fans to observe training routines and techniques up close in a relaxed setting.

Tennis icon Roger Federer will make a special appearance on October 10 at the main stadium. As the event's long-standing "Super Friend," the Swiss maestro's return is widely anticipated, and fans can expect a memorable experience once again.

How to choose your tickets

In addition to Center Court, the upgraded No. 2 Stadium will offer its own standalone tickets. With a packed schedule and frequent appearances by top players, it provides an intense, up-close match experience.

For those who want the best of both courts, the "All-Access Combo Pass" is recommended. It includes your choice of a Center Court session (day or night), plus a 50 percent discount on No. 2 Stadium tickets for the same day. This pass allows fans to enjoy up to five matches in one visit.

An early-bird discount is available for standard tickets to No. 2 Stadium on October 1 or 2. If purchased before August 21, these tickets are 30 percent off. This offer excludes packages with added gifts.
