Xicen Station, located near the Xicen S&T Innovation Center and Huawei Qingpu R&D Center, is a ground-level, three-story island platform station. It serves as the first transfer hub for the Yangtze River Delta Ecology and Greenery Integration Demonstration Zone.

The station's design is a highlight, blending the aesthetic charm of Jiangnan's traditional water towns with modern architecture, showcasing the region's beauty.

The roof of the station, for example, takes the form of an unfolding fan, symbolizing Shanghai's spirit of openness and inclusivity. The façade, with fan-shaped glass curtain walls and silvery steel frames, creates a shimmering effect with a dynamic light and shadow interplay.
